Overview Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring for Automotive Assistant & Service Managers in the Durham, NC area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. Responsibilities Assistant Manager responsibilities: support the Store Manager to operate efficiently, safely and effectively; enforce policies, procedures and standards; schedule technicians; manage outside orders; ensure quality and timely completion of jobs; meet customer expectations; and ensure team safety. Service Manager responsibilities: assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services; direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians; stage vehicle repair and maintenance work; drive sales initiatives; communicate with customers; assess needs; provide information regarding repairs and maintenance; ensure customer satisfaction and strive to meet expectations.
