Trademark Associate Attorney

Overview Dickinson Wright is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its Las Vegas Trademark and Copyright group. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience managing global trademark portfolios, conducting clearance searches, and handling USPTO prosecution and TTAB matters. Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, the ability to take ownership of matters, work independently and collaboratively, and exhibit superior writing, communication, and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail. Candidates must also be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with a high-volume docket. Responsibilities Conducting and analyzing US and international clearance searches and advising clients on risk and registrability of proposed trademarks. Managing all aspects of US trademark filing and prosecution, including preparing and filing of applications, reviewing and analyzing office actions, and drafting office action responses. Overseeing foreign counsel regarding international prosecution and enforcement matters. Advising clients on brand protection and enforcement strategies. Preparing and filing pleadings in ex parte and inter partes proceedings before the TTAB. Drafting and negotiating an array of IP-related agreements, including licenses, assignments, consents, coexistence agreements, and settlement agreements.
