Steve Myers - State Farm Agency located in Palmetto Bay, FL has an immediate opening for a Licensed Bilingual (Spanish) Sales Representative. We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience.

1. Must have an active Florida Property and Casualty insurance license and an active Florida Health and Life insurance license.
2. Must be local, this is an in-office position and you must be able to make the commute to our Palmetto Bay, FL office location.
3. Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish (required)
• Florida 2-20 General Lines Agent license
• Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
