Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access. Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for patients, visitors, staff, and deliveries in accordance with location policies. Document observations, incidents, and completed patrols accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location personnel. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
