We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist or Licensed Counselor to join our team! This is an opportunity to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, providing services to a broad spectrum of clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
- Provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling and support services for a mixed caseload including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict.
- Evaluate clients' mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
- Provide prevention-oriented therapy
- Implement and review treatment plans
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
- Ensure all documentation and billing is completed in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology. Independent licensure as a LMFT, LICSW, LCSW-C, LPCC, LCPAT and the ability to supervise.
- Must be able to bill Medicare as a rendering provider
- Prefer previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to easily build rapport with clients
- Strong leadership qualities
