Role Overview

As a Patient Transportation Partner, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients, charts, equipment, and items throughout the hospital and clinic areas. Your role is essential in supporting both patients and healthcare teams by ensuring timely and secure movement within the facility, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of care.

What You Will Do

• Transport patients safely and efficiently throughout the hospital and clinic areas.
• Handle and transport patient charts, equipment, and other items as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and unit-care data in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Demonstrate proper lifting techniques to ensure safety for both patients and yourself.
• Utilize transport management software to process work requests and manage tasks.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the telephone.
• Must pass all HFHS pre-employment requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or successful completion of basic CPR certification during orientation period.
