Develops and implements policies and procedures. Works closely with the VP of Mountain Operations and the patrol leadership group to set operational objectives. This role combines field leadership with administrative oversight and requires strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, expert skiing ability, strong downhill mountain biking ability, and the ability to lead effectively. The Director, Ski Patrol works closely with the Assistant Director, Snow Safety and other Patrol management to coordinate staffing, training, avalanche mitigation support, operational priorities, and emergency response readiness across the mountain. Requirements High school graduate or equivalent experience. Three years of experience as top-level Ski Patroller. Two years of experience supervising a Ski Patrol operation. Minimum 10 years of experience as a Professional Ski Patroller in a Class A Avalanche rated ski resort and meet the requirements of a TT-D Mammoth Patroller. Experience managing people and risks in high consequence environments. More detail requested- years of experience or detail on risks Current EMR, EMT, or Paramedic with BLS CPR first aid certification. Current California Avalanche Blaster license. Pay: $123,932.02 - $133,655.840 per year To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
