Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM | On-call includes 1 night per week (9:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekend call (Saturday & Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in the PACU setting, monitoring recovery and responding to changes in patient condition
• Participate in a rotating call schedule including 1 overnight call shift per week and weekend call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays
• Complete weekend rotation requirements: each RN is expected to work 3 of the 12-hour shifts within a 6-week schedule (2 day shifts and 1 overnight shift), which may be spread across multiple weekends or consolidated into a single weekend
• Float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or relevant RN experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address to be eligible
• Candidates must be available to work every other holiday
• Willingness to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Two supervisor references preferred at time of submission
