Our culture fosters creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning to position our team members to inspire each other and provide quality products and supporting services that exceed the expectations of our customers.The OpportunityThis position is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of enterprise server infrastructure, operating systems, virtualization platforms, cloud services, identity and access management, storage, backup and recovery systems, and related technologies. The System Administrator will provide hands-on support for Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 and Azure, VMware or Hyper-V, enterprise storage, monitoring, backup and recovery, and security technologies. Key responsibilities include system patching and upgrades, configuration management, vulnerability remediation, performance monitoring and optimization, troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate infrastructure documentation.In addition, the candidate will possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with demonstrated experience supporting secure, reliable, and highly available enterprise environments. This role will collaborate closely with Network, Cybersecurity, Application, Service Desk, and other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues, implement infrastructure enhancements, improve system reliability and performance, and ensure systems are maintained in accordance with organizational security standards, operational requirements, and industry best practices.This position is 100% on-site.The System Administrator responsibilities will include:Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows servers and applicationsAdminister Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCPSupport Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD and hybrid identity environmentsAdminister virtualization environments such as VMware vSphere/ESXiAdminister Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and related services, depending on organizational responsibilitiesWork with cybersecurity teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and security risksManage enterprise backup and recovery systemsMonitor servers and infrastructure using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, VMware monitoring tools, or similar platformsManage enterprise file servers, shares, and permissionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred3–5+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration or a related IT infrastructure roleExperience supporting production environments, business-critical applications, and enterprise infrastructureStrong experience administering Windows Server, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print servicesExperience with Microsoft 365 and Azure, including Entra ID, user administration, identity management, and access controlsExperience managing virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-VExperience with server hardware, storage, SAN/NAS, and enterprise backup technologiesUnderstanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewallsExperience with system monitoring and management platforms such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar toolsExperience performing OS patching, firmware upgrades, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and system hardeningKnowledge of backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability conceptsExperience with endpoint/server security, antivirus/EDR, certificate management, and security best practicesStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skillsStrong documentation skills, including maintaining system configurations, procedures, diagrams, and operational documentationAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with network, security, application, and support teamsU.S. citizenship is requiredPosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
