About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Moses Lake, Washington. The RN will provide direct patient care using the nursing process while supporting safe recovery and clinical monitoring of patients in the post-anesthesia setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive status and identify appropriate nursing priorities and interventions.

• Implement and evaluate individualized nursing plans of care while monitoring patient response and changes in clinical condition.

• Provide patient and family education and support safe recovery throughout the post-anesthesia care process.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.

• Coordinate and delegate patient-care activities appropriately and function in a charge or supervisory capacity when assigned.

Requirements

• Less Than 1 Year of Registered Nurse Experience May Be Considered; Acute Care and PACU Nursing Experience Preferred.

• Current, Active Washington State Registered Nurse License Required.

• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification Required or Must Be Obtained Within 30 Days of Hire.

• American Heart Association ACLS and PALS or PEARS Certification Required Within 6 Months of Hire; CPAN Certification Preferred.

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required; Must Demonstrate Critical Thinking, Crisis Management, and Competency Caring for Patients Across the Age Continuum.
