Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days or Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Day Shift: 7:00–19:00 / Night Shift: 19:00–7:00

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU/CVICU) setting at a Level 1 facility
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Complete required facility orientation modules within the designated orientation week timeframe
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-acuity cardiac surgical patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of CSICU/CVICU experience at a Level 1 facility
• EPIC charting experience required — no exceptions
• Must comply with natural nail policy as required by the facility
• Two professional references required at time of submission
• Must be available to have shift availability confirmed upfront

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity cardiac surgical environment
