Operational Specialist | $60,000–$75,000/year | NYC Full-Time (Hybrid)
High Ownership | Growth Opportunity
We’re looking for someone who loves bringing order to complexity.This isn’t a “keep the trains running” role. This is a take ownership and make things better role.
You’ll work directly with leadership to support a major workforce initiative with a large NYC based non-profit helping create housing for underserved communities, driving execution, keeping teams aligned, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
What You’ll Own:Keep projects moving — timelines, follow-ups, accountability
Build and manage reporting (clear, consistent, actionable)
Help develop and implement SOPs that actually get used
Coordinate across teams, partners, and stakeholders
Bring structure to fast-moving, sometimes messy environments
What We’re Looking For:
3–5+ years in operations, project coordination, or similar
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Strong communicator — clear, concise, no fluff
Comfortable taking initiative (not waiting to be told what to do)
Someone who sees problems and fixes them
