This position is responsible for the administration and distribution of accounts payable in an accurate and timely fashion. This job will be about 20 hours a week.


What you'll do

• Receive batch invoices from field offices and load into accounting system
• Key in any manual invoices received outside of the batch
• Review invoices for signatures, verify purchase order, invoice number and amounts
• Clarify any discrepancies or obtain missing information from the field office
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and requirements
• Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe
• Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters
• Provide controller with feedback, ideas and suggestions on a timely basis
• Perform all other duties as assigned

What you'll need

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-6 years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and others as needed
• Previous experience working with accounting software
• Ability to multi-task
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Positive and effective customer service skills
• Physical requirements (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to preform essential functions): Sit for long periods of time, use of hands, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, talk or hear. May require walking throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist or lifting to file documents or store materials. May include lifting up to 25 pounds on occasion. Routinely required to work extended periods of time on a computer. Routinely require to work flexible schedule based on the needs of the business.
