Suntecktts, a leading 3rd party logistics company is looking for talented, energetic, and motivated individuals for its Charlotte, NC office. Our business entails continuous phone and email interaction with manufacturers and transportation companies to move freight all across the US and Canada. Our fast-paced atmosphere resembles that of a stock brokerage. We are currently hiring for a Sales Consultant. Compensation will be commiserate with experience and will include salary, sales commissions, Medical and Dental Benefits, paid vacation and holidays, as well as 401(k).

The following skills and attributes are necessary to succeed in this position:
• Minimum of 2 years transportation sales experience required
• Must have that “hunter” mentality
• Excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills; ability to make practical and fair judgments.
• High energy and proven success in transportation sales
• Effective negotiation and communication skills (oral and written) – fearless on the phone
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• Some knowledge in related technologies: Microsoft office, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), competitive pricing structures, and public policies such as DOT regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to and influence prospects; foster useful business-to-business relationships and promote sales and goodwill within market segments of interest
