Job Summary:
The Human Resources/ Safety/ General Affairs Assistant Managers assists in the planning, directing, and coordinating the team members as well as external vendors pertaining to the Human Resources, Safety, and General Affairs activities of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Offers guidance to those within the Human Resources, Safety, and General Affairs departments
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations.
- Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork; addressing any issues.
- Maintain current knowledge of Human Resources regulations.
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using HRIS software.
- Review employment applications and job orders to match applicants with job requirements
- Interview job applicants, making recommendations to managers.
- Schedule or conduct new employee orientations.
- Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.
- Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports.
- Administer drug tests for prospective employees.
- Instrumental in planning and execution of employee morale activities
- Assist in incident investigations, reporting findings to management
- Assist with workers compensation cases, partnering with Safety Department for documentation
- Worker with vendors and external partners on projects
- Maintain office/janitorial supply log and inventory
- Plan and orchestrate tasked related to guest relations
- Oversee company vehicles to include preventative maintenance
- Oversee expatriates’ settlement in the United States
- Coordinates the Safety team
Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years of related experience
Physical Requirements:
Frequently sitting at a desk for extended periods of time with use of a computer
Must be able to lift and/or move 15 pounds alone
Will be in an office attached to a production plant which is dusty, dirty, and noisy.
Occasional work on the production floor, requiring to wear appropriate PPE (sleeves, glasses, and safety-toed shoes)
