Job Overview


HVAC Technicians will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heating and cooling systems in residential and/or commercial settings depending on assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and service HVAC systems and components
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling systems
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative service checks
• Repair or replace defective parts, wiring, or components
• Test systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members
• Follow all safety guidelines and industry standards
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC experience required
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment
• EPA certification preferred (may be required depending on assignment)
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Valid driver's license required (for most assignments)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
