Job Overview


HVAC Installers are responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and/or commercial buildings depending on assignment. This role requires mechanical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, and ventilation components
• Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and installation instructions
• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and piping
• Mount and secure HVAC units and system components
• Test installed systems to ensure proper operation
• Follow all safety procedures and building codes
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors on job progress
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on job sites

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC installation or construction experience preferred
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus
• Valid driver's license preferred (may be required depending on assignment)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Willingness to learn and grow in the HVAC trade

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
