Job Summary

Requirements of the position include adhering to U.C. policies and contracts, understanding

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
• Must be board certified in Infectious Diseases
• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
• No minimum work experience required.
• They must have the ability to foster collegiality and work collaboratively in a diverse environment and the ability to adhere to University policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated knowledge, clinical skills, and ability to effectively diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a broad range of infectious diseases.

Department Overview

The Department of Internal Medicine is the largest department in the School of Medicine,
with 13 subspecialty divisions. This physician will work in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Rancho Cordova or Carmichael CPG location.

Department Specific Job Scope

The physician will provide nine half-day clinic sessions per week, as well as one Saturday clinic per month. In addition, the physician will provide two weeks of inpatient consult service.
