Diesel Technician / Truck TechnicianM&K Truck Centers is an authorized Mack and Volvo dealership providing high-quality diesel truck repair, maintenance, and service for commercial vehicles. As one of the fastest-growing commercial truck dealership groups in the Midwest, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and investing in our technicians.We are hiring Diesel Technicians / Truck Technicians to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on new and late-model semi-trucks. This role is ideal for candidates with experience or interest in diesel engine repair, heavy-duty truck maintenance, and fleet service.We are actively hiring at all experience levels, including:Entry-level / recent tech school graduatesMid-level technicians with hands-on experienceSenior diesel mechanicsKey Responsibilities:Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair on diesel trucks (Mack, Volvo, and other makes)Complete preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucksRepair and service: Diesel engines (Cummins, Volvo, Mack, Detroit, etc.)Brake systems, suspension, electrical, and emissions systemsAccurately document all repairs, parts, and laborWork closely with service advisors and service managersDeliver high-quality, efficient repairs while maintaining productivityProvide excellent customer-focused serviceQualifications:High school diploma or GEDDiesel technician school or technical training is preferred but not requiredExperience with semi-truck repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment repairCDL (Commercial Driver's License) – preferred, not requiredMechanical aptitude and strong work ethicMinimum 18 months diesel repair or mechanical experience (preferred, not required for entry-level roles)Ability to work in a shop environment and collaborate with a teamMust own a basic set of toolsWhat We Offer:Paid training & OEM certificationsCareer growth for entry-level through master diesel techniciansCompetitive salary and benefits package, including an ESOP program.Opportunities for professional development and growth.A supportive and dynamic work environment.Ready to Join Us?
