Trailer MechanicFull-Time, Monday - Friday, Various ShiftsR+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Trailer Mechanics at our Otsego, MN Service Center. As a Trailer Mechanic your responsibilities will include the diagnostic process, repair work, and overall maintenance of our trailers.Requirements:Experienced in performing safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company, and any other Federal, State, or Local regulationsMust be able to Interpret technical manualsMust have experience in repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systemsExperience in testing equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulationsExperience in trailer PMs and repairsMust be able to lift 50lbsMust own your own toolsMust be dependableMust be prepared to work in climate situation when needed.Preferred:Experience using Cetaris Maintenance Work Order SystemWeldingExperience driving yard tractor/trailersPrevious experience working on Class 8 commercial vehiclesSheet metal and composite panel repairBenefits: R+L Carriers offers an excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matching contributions, Paid Vacation & Holidays, and vacation lodging at our exclusive employee resorts in Daytona Beach, FL, Big Bear Lake, CA, Pigeon Forge, TN, and Ocean Isle Beach, NC.About Us: R+L Carriers is a family owned, privately held transportation company founded in 1965.
