• Location: Paducah, Kentucky
• Setting: Hospital-based orthopedic surgery coverage
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, 7a-7a
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,870-$6,950
• Patient Population: Adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• EMR: Epic

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Kentucky medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Active DEA registration
• BLS certification
• Orthopedic fellowship preferred
• At least 1 year of orthopedic surgery experience required
• Experience with general surgical and non-surgical orthopedic procedures
• Hip and knee replacement procedures experience required
• Arthroscopy experience required
• Hip/knee repair or revision procedures experience required
• Ability to perform hip nailing procedures
• Clean background and availability for the listed coverage dates

• Provide orthopedic call coverage and support urgent surgical needs in a hospital setting
• Evaluate and manage orthopedic trauma, fractures, dislocations, amputations, deformities, and bone or joint tumors
• Perform total joint replacement, revision, and repair procedures for hip, knee, and shoulder cases
• Support spinal surgery cases without instrumentation and with instrumentation as appropriate
• Perform arthroscopy and other advanced orthopedic procedures
• Respond to emergency call backs and deliver timely, high-quality patient care
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure efficient coverage and continuity of orthopedic services
