EAM Data Specialist I

: Summary Assist in creating and executing the NJT data standard for all asset reporting for Operating and Capital needs, to ensure ongoing alignment with NJ TRANSIT's AM processes, standards, and protocols. Roles and Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Process Implementation - Develops and enforces procedures to enhance asset data quality.
• Takes ownership of pinpointing sources of errors in asset data, proposing strategies to mitigate them.
• Supplies asset data to Asset Managers for in-depth analysis, offering insights on discerned patterns.
• Reports identified asset data inconsistencies, collaborating with asset groups to resolve issues promptly.
• Monitors and ensures the completeness and accuracy of asset data across all operational domains.

Education, Experience, Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Engineering, Economics, Architecture, Public Policy, Transportation Planning, or a related field.
• Experience with data entry and/or data analytic and reporting required
• Any equivalent combination of related work experience and education may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficient in MS Office and data analytics.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Efficient in handling short- and long-term projects effectively.

Working Environment

• 20% Field, 80% Office
