Regular Full Time Remote Southern, CA, US 8 days ago Requisition ID: 3254 Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually Willdan is seeking an Outreach Specialist to support our sales team’s lead generation and outreach efforts for heat pump water heaters for small businesses as part of our utility incentive program in the southern California region. The outreach specialist will work in partnership with existing program staff including Program managers, Engineers, and Account Managers to identify, coordinate, and support the sale of heat pump water heater projects. The Outreach Specialist position receives an annual base salary plus commission. Conduct outbound cold calls and in person visits to prospective customers. Deliver clear, compelling pitches for program participation and qualify leads based on interest. Overcome objections professionally and maintain persistence in follow-up efforts. Log all call activity, outcomes, and next steps in Willdan’s CRM system and internal platforms. Identify and research new prospects to keep pipeline lists current and targeted. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor as business needs dictate. Job Requirements / Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in cold calling, telemarketing, outside sales. Comfortable making a high volume of outbound and “cold” customer visits. Strong verbal communication skills; professional, clear, and confident on the phone. Solid written communication skills for crafting effective solicitation emails. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel), experience with HubSpot is a plus. Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task independently with minimal supervision.
