In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to clients across various age groups, including adults, geriatrics, children, and adolescents. Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize social work theories and techniques to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients and their families upon intake, on an annual basis, or as clinically warranted. This entails evaluating their emotional, social, and physical needs to formulate an effective treatment strategy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health care teams to create and implement detailed treatment plans that address each client’s unique psychosocial needs, facilitating relevant referrals to specialty services and entitlement programs.
\n
• Support clients and their families in managing the psychological and environmental challenges that accompany illness, providing crisis intervention and supportive counseling.
\n
• Independently manage an assigned caseload, which may present varying levels of clinical acuity, ensuring quality care and regular follow-ups.
\n
• Engage in proactive case finding for clients who may require psychosocial support, and actively participate in team conferences and interdisciplinary rounds.
\n
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, assisting them in understanding the implications of diagnoses and treatment options, particularly during transitions from youth to adult services.
\n
• Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and community outreach programs, aimed at improving mental health services and operational standards within the organization.
\n
• Formulate mental health diagnoses and integrate them into comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring continuity and effectiveness in care.
\n
• Supervise Master’s level social workers (MSW) and student interns, offering guidance and support as they develop their clinical skills.
\n
• Maintain meticulous electronic medical records that comply with organizational protocols, ensuring accurate documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.

In your role, you will work with a diverse client base that includes adults, elderly individuals, children, and adolescents. This variety allows you the opportunity to address a wide range of mental health challenges, from coping with chronic illness to navigating developmental transitions, thereby playing a crucial part in their journey toward psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work or a related behavioral science discipline from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is required.

• Proven ability to employ effective assessment, interviewing, and counseling techniques in a therapeutic setting.

• Strong foundational knowledge of social work theories and methodologies, with experience applying them in clinical practice.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to produce detailed case narratives and reports.
