The Department of Conservation & Natural Resources is looking for a Park Maintenance Supervisor 2 who is ready to lead and make a difference. This role gives you the opportunity to support the daily operations of beautiful park areas. Your leadership will help keep facilities running smoothly and projects on track. In this position, you will oversee maintenance, construction, and equipment operations across the Cook Forest and Clear Creek State Park Complex. You will ensure safe, efficient work practices while guiding staff and supporting park needs. As a Park Maintenance Supervisor 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Crew Supervision: Lead maintenance and trade staff in construction, facility care, and equipment operation
- Project Planning: Prepare sketches, determine needs, and organize resources for park construction projects
- Safety Oversight: Maintain Right to Know records, conduct training, and ensure safe work practices
- Equipment Management: Oversee operation and upkeep of automotive and heavy equipment
- Administrative Tasks: Complete reports, manage time sheets, and maintain inventory records

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Work shifts and days will vary. The employee will work 37.5 hours per week across 5 days, which may include weekends and holidays.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Park Maintenance Supervisor 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Five years of semi-skilled maintenance or construction experience in two of the following: electrical trades, plumbing trades, carpentry trades, mechanical trades, water or wastewater treatment plant operations, or the operation of small and medium size construction or agricultural equipment; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
