Public Relations Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Public Relations Coordinator to join our communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the public image of our organization by developing and executing strategic communication plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of media relations, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement public relations strategies and campaigns to promote the organization's brand and initiatives.
• Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to secure coverage opportunities.
• Coordinate and support press conferences, media events, and community outreach programs.
• Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of PR efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels and platforms.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of grammar and style.
• Ability to develop clear, concise, and persuasive content tailored to different audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with media professionals and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with media monitoring tools and PR software is a plus.
