Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI

Must-Have:
2 years of Cath Lab experience

Description:
Prepare procedure suites and ensure radiation safety setup.
Calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
Pull necessary supplies and set up the sterile table.
Scrub in and assist physicians with procedures, including device exchange, guidewire manipulation, catheter placement, balloon and stent deployment.
Manage radiation dose and imaging angles while maintaining cleanliness and restocking for room turnover.
Assist with sheath removals as needed.
Work collaboratively with the team, which includes RNs and other technologists.
Participate in the weeknight and weekend call rotation, approximately once every three weekdays and once every three weekends.
Respond to call within 30 minutes.
Expect to float for vascular cases as needed.
Wear provided scrubs and may use personal scrub caps.
Undergo unit-specific orientation, typically comprising 2-3 full days of training and shadowing before handling cases independently.
Must note if previously engaged with this organization, ensuring a six-month gap has been maintained before reengagement.
