Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled PACU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional post-anesthesia recovery care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in PACU and demonstrate strong clinical proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously to monitor recovery progress and identify complications.
• Administer post-operative medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth transfer of care and patient stability.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, providing life-saving interventions when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of recent PACU experience.
• Possess current AHA BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in post-operative patient assessment and care.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting.
• Be willing to work scheduled hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
