Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

$1846.61/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking a experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in a GI Lab specializing in endoscopy and pulmonary procedures. The RN will provide specialized care during various interventional GI and pulmonary procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient assessments pre- and post-procedure, ensuring readiness and recovery.

• Assist physicians during procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, ERCPs, and other interventional techniques.

• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels, responding promptly to any abnormalities.

• Administer medications and prepare supplies specific to GI and pulmonary interventions.

• Document all procedures, patient responses, and care provided in compliance with hospital protocols.

• Adhere to holiday staffing expectations, working two major holidays and one minor holiday as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of employment.

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an endoscopy, GI, or pulmonary lab setting.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.

• Ability to perform or assist with advanced GI and pulmonary procedures.

• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
