Job Details Title: Operations and Maintenance Helpdesk Analyst Duration: 13 Weeks Contract to Hire Start Date: 04/21/2017 Location: Sterling, VA, United States Contract Period: until 9/25/17 Option Years: 4 Description We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Operations and Maintenance HelpDesk Analyst to join our team in Sterling, VA to begin an exciting and challenging career with Client Federal Systems. In this role, you will perform activities associated with installing, maintaining and servicing computer-related products, including but not limited to desktop & laptop computers, printers, network devices, and standard software at customer sites. You may be directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script using standard methods, techniques, and tools. Assignments range in complexity from basic troubleshooting and repair to more difficult device repair. Responsibilities Monitor and report on system data and alerts. Resolve system issues through remote access to deployed systems. Provide on-call support for LBI/ITI applications according to contract terms. Manage trouble tickets and key issues related to the ongoing operations of the program. Track and resolve all issues presented by the customer through appropriate PMO chains as defined by the contract. Work with the technical/software team to ensure changes improve operational functionality at ports and overall performance. Qualifications U.S. citizenship with full background investigation required. Associate's degree and minimum of 2 years of technical experience with hardware and software focusing on Windows embedded systems, Help Desk experience, or equivalent. Familiarity with network infrastructure. CBP BI clearance preferred. Help Desk may need 24/7 coverage; shift work possible. Self-directed, highly motivated with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in understanding and communicating external customer technical issues. Experience interacting with project managers, deployment team, and other team members on resolving issues. Clearance Active clearance required: CBP BI, Secret, Top secret or higher.
