Wholesale Manager

For an International Footwear & Apparel Company: Lead, coach and develop the Wholesale Sales Team to achieve ambitious sales and profitability targets. Define and execute the wholesale sales strategy across multiple distribution channels. Manage and grow relationships with key wholesale partners, distributors and major retail accounts. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region. Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to support strategic decision-making. Develop tailored commercial plans for different sales channels, including: Concessions Key Account Contemporary Key Account Mass Market Independent Retailers & Buying Groups Prepare and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts for the customer portfolio. Analyze sales performance, profitability and sell-out data to maximize commercial results. Oversee seasonal planning, inventory optimization and overstock management. Collaborate with Marketing to develop and implement local brand activation initiatives. Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure long-term, profitable customer partnerships. Proven experience in a managerial wholesale sales role, preferably within the footwear, fashion or lifestyle industry . Strong understanding of wholesale distribution, key account management and commercial planning. Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving sustainable business growth. Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze sales performance and market trends. Experience managing budgets, forecasts and customer portfolios. Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Flexible, proactive and results-oriented approach.
