Inventory Planner

Our solutions improve the techniques and outcomes of surgery so patients can resume their lives as quickly as possible.Position Summary:The Inventory Planner is responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory levels for International direct and indirect markets to ensure the right products are available at the right time. Collaborating with the supply chain team to ensure safety stock levels are accurate and inventory is accurately balanced and allocated across the organizationEssential Functions:Monitoring inventory levels across international distribution centersIdentify future risksCollaborating with Supply Chain to set safety stock levelsIntroduce process improvement initiatives to the inventory management system and other related business processes which help to drive efficiencies, reduce operating costs and increase inventory accuracyDevelop strong working relationships with the local operations organizations and cross-functional partners.Escalating material shortages to management teamCreate ad-hoc analysis to identify and react to current and future business trendsAnalyzing inventory turns to reallocate and rebalance excesses across distribution sitesDetermining inventory allocationReview global allocation of inventoryMonitoring performance in line with global key performance indicators and company goalsAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policiesEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third partiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or similar field preferredMinimum two years’ experience in supply chain planningStrong planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; willingness to be flexible and to adapt quickly to changesStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsCustomer-oriented, pro-active and can-do mentalityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- Strong in Excel and other analytic reporting toolsStrong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills with the ability to formulate conclusion through reportingAbility to work in a collaborative team environment with good interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work in an international environmentPhysical Demands:The physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlRequired to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsRequired to possess specific visons abilities, including: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focusOur Values:Our Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.Passionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
