As an Access Control Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document security-related information. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Support access restrictions for production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas in accordance with facility policies and food production requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help identify access control concerns and other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
