Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Napa, California.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: MRI Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 12, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a day-shift role requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MRI) certification.Details\n \n Adult acute care and outpatient MRI setting, including ER/Trauma\n 4x10 hour day shifts starting at 0700 or 0830\n On-call required on Sundays approximately every 4th to 5th week based on rotation\n Uses GE MRI equipment and PACS system\n Performs abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging\n Special imaging procedures include gradient echo, spin echo, T1/T2 weighted imaging, MIP, MPR, and post-processing techniques\n Potential to float between sister facilities as needed\n Requirements\n \n Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required\n ARRT (R)(MRI) and ARRT (R) certification required\n BLS certification required\n CRT/CA license required if applicable\n Compact license must be in hand at time of submission\n Epic EMR experience required\n Community hospital experience preferred\n Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts\n Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required\n Additional Information\n \n Must be comfortable performing a wide range of MRI procedures across multiple anatomical regions\n Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer; post-offer requests may not be honored\n Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities; refusal to float may impact assignment continuation\n Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate\n Radius rule of 50 miles applies for standard travel rate eligibility\n Former Providence facility staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility\n First-time travelers not specified as accepted or excluded\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-753004.
