Auditor

Whitecap Search is seeking a skilled professional to review and prepare audited financial statements, ensuring full footnote disclosure in accordance with GAAP and/or a modified basis of accounting. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of audit planning and risk assessment, and have the ability to lead audit engagements and communicate effectively with clients. Responsibilities Review and prepare audited financial statements with full footnote disclosure by GAAP and/or modified basis of accounting. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of audit planning and risk assessment. Prepare quarterly financial reports and related schedules for presentation at Board of Trustee Meetings. Run audit engagements and communicate effectively with clients. Report on asset utilization and audit results, recommending changes in operations and financial activities. Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies. Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to accepted accounting procedures. Requirements 2 years of auditing experience. CPA is desirable for career advancement.
