Job Title: Security Receptionist Officer

Pay Rate: $19.05 per hour

Location: Abilene, TX

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Security Receptionist Officer to serve as the first point of contact at our client site. This role combines front desk reception duties with security responsibilities, requiring a friendly, professional demeanor and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and welcoming environment while ensuring all site policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist employees, clients, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring all personnel and visitors follow site policies
• Enforce company regulations and directives related to safety, security, and site operations
• Manage visitor check-in/check-out processes, including issuing badges and maintaining accurate logs
• Provide excellent customer service while resolving inquiries or directing individuals appropriately
• Perform routine administrative and computer-based tasks, including data entry and report logging
• Maintain awareness of site activity and report any suspicious or unusual behavior
• Collaborate with site management and team members to support overall security operations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Good computer skills, including basic data entry and use of standard office systems
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and enforce policies with professionalism
• Previous security or reception experience preferred but not required

Working Conditions

• Primarily stationed at a reception or front desk area
• Frequent interaction with employees, visitors, and vendors
• Requires maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
