ESTIMATOR Reliant Industrial Solutions is hiring a full-time Estimator to assist with the day-to-day bidding of potential projects and work with the Project Managers of awarded projects. Heavy Civil, Road, and Bridge Experience is a must. Reliant Industrial offers a competitive benefits package. Pay DOE. RESPONSIBILITIES · Use project solicitation programs to research potential projects. · Attend job meetings including pre-construction, project, and staff meetings. · Read and understand project drawings. · Read and understand project specifications, provisions, customer generated reports, and details. · Prepare & distribute Invitations to Bid, Project scope sheets, memos, and other preconstruction documents to trade partners and vendors · Prepare and distribute proposals and scope of work clarifications. · Solicit pricing from trade partners and vendors. · Meet project bid deadlines and due dates. · Perform quantity take-offs. JOB REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience in civil construction. * 5 years of progressive project experience in Heavy Civil, Road, and Bridge Experience is Required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * AutoCAD * Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project, AutoCAD, and Adobe * Knowledge of construction civil, concrete, structural steel, bridge, and industrial project estimating * Must be able to make simple conversions and calculation between different units of measurements and be able to compute rate, ratio, and percentages as needed. * Maintain ability to work in high production environment * Demonstrated decisions-making skills * Excellent leadership skills * Excellent supervisory communication and organizational skills * Accuracy at all times Company Description Our VISION at Reliant is to pursue excellence through dedication, experience and commitment and to be a company that our customers want to work with and our employees are proud to work for.
