MRI Technician | Spring Valley, California
$27.5 - $50 per hourSoliant Health
Seeking an experienced MRI professional skilled in advanced medical imaging to provide high-quality care for patients undergoing MRI procedures. This contract position spans 13 weeks, ideal for a dedicated MRI Technologist eager to apply their expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- 5 shifts of 8 hours each per week
- Day shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Certification in MRI from ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT required
- Current BLS certification
- At least 1 year of MRI experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient positioning
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals
- Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and protocol guidelines
- Ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process
- Review images for quality assurance before submission to radiologist
- Maintain accurate documentation of each procedure
- Troubleshoot technical issues with MRI equipment
- Provide compassionate care, addressing patient concerns and explaining procedures
- Adhere to HIPAA and facility standards at all times
