Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | No On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track bays, and 5 behavioral health rooms
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4 in the ED, 1:5 in behavioral health, and 1:3 in cardiac/trauma settings
• Perform and assist with procedures including splinting, EKGs, central line management, airway support, trauma assists, rapid infuser operation, and resuscitation
• Utilize Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid Infusers, and Stryker stretchers in patient care delivery
• Document and manage patient information using MEDITECH EMR
• Provide behavioral health de-escalation support as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• ENPC certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with MEDITECH EMR
• Trauma experience in an emergency or acute care setting
• Experience holding inpatient patients within the ED
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
