Description Summary Morton College is seeking a motivated and detail-orientedindividual for a project-based Human Resources Internship. Thisopportunity is ideal for individuals looking to gain meaningful,hands-on experience in HR through focused work on real-worldprojects. Interns will contribute to initiatives that improveinternal processes, support employee development, and enhanceorganizational effectiveness within a higher education setting.This role is open to both students and non-students. Duties & Responsibilities Work on HR-focused projects such as: Onboarding and orientation improvements Employee handbook and policy updates Staff training and development programs HR process documentation and workflows Conduct research, benchmarking, and data analysis to supportproject goals. Create project reports, timelines, and presentations for HRleadership. Collaborate with college departments to gather insights andfeedback. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR-relatedmatters. Qualifications Interest in Human Resources, organizational development, orpublic sector work. Strong communication, organization, and time-managementskills. Ability to take initiative and manage project tasksindependently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, andOutlook). Previous exposure to HR or administrative environments ishelpful but not required.
