You do not have to be a Registered Veterinary Technician to apply. We're looking for someone with previous hands-on veterinary experience who is ready to jump in, share their skills, and continue learning and growing with us.

What our Veterinary Assistants/Technicians Do

• Assist veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians during patient appointments, treatments, and procedures
• Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information
• Provide safe, compassionate handling and restraint for canine and feline patients
• Perform blood draws and collect diagnostic samples based on experience and training
• Assist with laboratory testing and sample preparation
• Prepare medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
• Provide attentive patient care and monitoring
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about their pets' care
• Assist with client education and reinforce veterinarian recommendations
• Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records
• Clean, organize, stock, and maintain exam and treatment areas
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain an efficient daily workflow
• Jump in wherever needed to support patients, clients, and coworkers
• Provide plenty of compassion and attention to our four-legged patients

What You'll Bring

• Previous hands-on veterinary clinic experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Veterinary Technician registration is welcomed but not required
• Part-time availability with the ability to work rotating Saturdays
• Confidence handling dogs and cats safely and compassionately
• Strong client-service and communication skills
• Dependability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
• A collaborative, team-first mindset
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a busy environment
• Willingness to ask questions, learn new skills, and continue growing professionally
• A willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
• A genuine passion for veterinary medicine, pets, and the people who love them
• A sense of humor is always appreciated!
