The Inpatient PACU Assistant Nurse Manager will support a busy Post Anesthesia Care Unit caring for a diverse surgical patient population within a large acute care hospital. This leader will help oversee daily clinical operations, patient flow, staffing coordination, and quality initiatives while ensuring exceptional perioperative patient care. The department is known for its teamwork, high-acuity experience, and collaborative approach among nurses, physicians, and surgical teams. Candidates with inpatient PACU leadership experience, charge nurse experience, and a passion for mentoring staff will thrive in this dynamic environment. Reporting directly to PACU and perioperative nursing leadership, the PACU Nursing Assistant Manager will partner closely with nurse leaders and interdisciplinary teams to support operational excellence and staff engagement. This role includes oversight of clinical operations, staff support, workflow coordination, and regulatory compliance while helping guide a dedicated team of perioperative nurses and healthcare professionals.
