Customer Service Sales Specialist

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 base salary plus annual bonus. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Account Management Review, acknowledge, and confirm customer purchase orders, ensuring that order details are accurate and aligned with the quoted requirements. Maintain required customer documentation, specifications, certifications, and other account information. Coordinate with internal team members to communicate customer requirements and help ensure orders move smoothly through production and fulfillment. Develop strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing responsive, knowledgeable, and personalized service. Identify customer needs and communicate opportunities for additional products or services when appropriate. Prepare and provide quotations based on customer requirements, specifications, quantities, materials, packaging, and other project details. Follow up on open quotations to answer questions, address concerns, and help move opportunities forward. Maintain accurate records of quotations and customer opportunities. Work with the internal team to obtain the information needed to develop accurate and competitive quotes. Assist customers in understanding United Wire's capabilities and identifying potential solutions for their wire requirements. Business Development & Prospecting Identify and research potential new customers and business opportunities. Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, or other appropriate channels. Follow up with prospective customers and develop new sales opportunities. Maintain and update prospect and customer information. Support ongoing sales and marketing initiatives designed to generate new business. Inventory & Customer-Specific Packaging Monitor inventory levels of customer-specific packaging materials. Coordinate purchasing of packaging supplies required for customer orders, including spools, cores, boxes, and other materials. Work with suppliers and internal team members to ensure necessary packaging materials are available when needed. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused, organized, and motivated professional who enjoys building relationships and helping customers solve problems. We're looking for someone who: Has experience in customer service, inside sales, account management, or a related role. Is comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email. Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Has strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing orders, specifications, and documentation. Familiar with MS Office and Outlook Is comfortable preparing and following up on quotes. Is confident making outbound calls and helping to develop new business opportunities. Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be asked to solve a problem. Works well in a small-team environment where communication and collaboration are important. Is comfortable learning technical products and manufacturing processes. Has a professional, positive, and responsive approach to customer relationships. Manufacturing, wire, or metals sales experience is a plus, but not required. The ability and willingness to learn United Wire's products, capabilities, materials, and customers is more important.
