You will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of presentations, from running injuries and biomechanical dysfunction through to nail surgery, verruca treatments, and routine podiatric care. The clinic places a strong emphasis on evidence‑based practice and utilises advanced technology to support clinical decision‑making and optimise patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess and manage a varied podiatry caseload Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal and biomechanical conditions Conduct gait analysis and biomechanical assessments Prescribe and manage orthotic interventions Deliver rehabilitation and exercise‑based treatment programmes Manage nail conditions conservatively and surgically where appropriate Deliver verruca treatments and associated interventions Provide routine podiatric care as part of a balanced caseload Maintain accurate and professional clinical records Participate in CPD and service development initiatives About You To be considered for this role, you will have: HCPC registration as a Podiatrist A degree in Podiatry A minimum of 3 years’ post‑graduate experience Experience managing musculoskeletal and biomechanical presentations Confidence conducting gait assessments and prescribing orthotic interventions Strong communication and patient engagement skills A proactive and collaborative approach to practice Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence‑based care The following would be advantageous but are not essential: Nail surgery experience Swift verruca treatment experience Shockwave therapy experience Injection therapy experience Experience using advanced gait analysis technology The Pathway This opportunity begins as a 3‑month locum assignment, allowing both you and the clinic to ensure the role is the right fit. Successful clinicians will then have the opportunity to transition into a long‑term self‑employed associate position within the practice.
