Our Components Division is looking for a hands‑on, driven Field Service Technician to support truss installation, customer needs, and on‑site repairs. What You’ll Do Represent 84 Components in the field, supporting customers and job sites Inspect roof and floor truss installations for accuracy and quality Perform small repairs and adjustments on‑site as needed Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to truss placement and performance Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams Provide technical support and recommendations in real‑time Ensure all work aligns with company standards, safety guidelines, and best practices Assist with documentation and reporting of field visits and findings What We’re Looking For Experience in construction, framing, truss building, or carpentry preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints and structural layouts Comfortable using tools and performing hands‑on repairs in the field Strong problem‑solving and communication skills Self‑motivated and able to work independently on job sites Willingness to travel locally to job sites as needed Why 84 Lumber?
