Join Our Team as a Dental Assistant at Partnership Community Health Center!
Seeking full-time Dental Assistant working 2 days in Waupaca and 2 days in Oshkosh- or 2 part time Dental Assistants - one for each location. Partnership Community Health Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services to individuals and families. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our community by offering affordable and accessible medical, dental, and behavioral health.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program and/or equivalent experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Able to earn and maintain BLS certification.

Responsibilities:
- Obtain health histories for review by the dentist and document oral examinations in Dentrix.
- Receive and prepare patients for treatment including taking and incorporating digital x-rays into software program, seating, chair positioning, napkin placement, provide patient safety devices.
- Perform coronal polishing and fluoride application, and provide patient instructions pre- and postoperative.
- Follow all safety engineering practices, including use of lead aprons, PPE hazardous and infectious product handling, sharps handling, curing light exposure, and MSDS/OSHA knowledge and understanding.
- Attend staff meetings of the dental unit and/or PCHC meetings that have relevance to dental staff.
- Follow accepted dental procedures in the preparing and post-treatment cleanup of dental equipment and operatories, including hard surface disinfection.
- Cross-train to Patient Services duties, including but not limited to, verification of insurance, patient check in, and appointment confirmation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
