Terms I am at least 18 years old I am legally authorized to work in the United States 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available) Spherion is partnering with warehouse facility in Dodge County to recruit a dependable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join their team! Role Highlights Role Overview: Reports directly to the Pick/Ship Supervisor or Pick/Ship Lead Person. Responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders according to work instructions. Location: Primarily Beaver Dam with potential requirement to work at the Columbus Campus. What You’ll Do Retrieve parts for customer orders from warehouse storage facilities in a timely manner following established work instructions. Protect parts during transit to the shipping area and collaborate closely with shippers to ensure accurate shipments. Note any picking or skid issues directly on pick tickets and research/locate missing or "transitional" inventory. Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and general appearance of storage facilities and work areas. Fill out Daily Job Cards and participate in departmental meetings and process improvement recommendations. Assist in training new personnel and work in other assigned areas or perform overtime as needed to ensure all orders ship. Adhere strictly to department work instructions and company employee handbook guidelines. What You’ll Bring Education & Experience: High School diploma or equivalent preferred; previous warehouse experience preferred. Certifications & Equipment Skills: Forklift experience required. Aerial Platform experience preferred. Required ability to operate departmental equipment (Order Selector, Very Narrow Aisle/VNA, or outside picking equipment). Valid driver's license required if driving company vehicles (not required for standard material handling equipment). Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Capacity to stand/walk on feet all day and perform frequent bending, squatting, lifting, and reaching. Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet. Ability to adapt to varying weather conditions for occasional outside work.
