Metal Fabricator / Brake Press OperatorCustom manufacturer in Lawrenceville is hiring a Metal Fabricator / Brake Press Operator for a direct hire opportunity! The right candidate will bring hands-on press brake experience and precision fabrication skills to help form sheet metal components to exact specifications.Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 1st Shift, 10 hour days $20-$25 per hour / Direct HireWhat You'll DoInstall tooling, dies, and punches; adjust back gauges, ram pressure, and depth settings on CNC or manual press brakesBend, notch, and form sheet metal components according to engineering blueprints and production work ordersRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, bend allowances, and tolerancesPerform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and angle protractorsLoad, align, and unload raw sheet metal and finished parts safely, using cranes or team lifting as neededPerform routine equipment cleaning and minor preventative maintenance while following OSHA and facility safety guidelinesWhat We're Looking ForExperience with CNC-controlled fabrication equipment and reading technical blueprintsSolid understanding of basic shop math, fractions, decimals, angles, and metric measurementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of hands-on brake press / metal fabrication experienceTo apply for the Metal Fabricator / Brake Press Operator position, submit your resume in response to this ad or fill out an application at impactstaffing.com.Impact Staffing has been connecting Metro Atlanta job seekers with top manufacturing, distribution, and administrative employers for over 25 years.
