Maintenance Technician I

Maintenance Technician IGSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician I in Fresno, CA, come join a dynamic property management team!In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance functions throughout the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office spaces, grounds, and parking lots. Your work will help maintain the property in accordance with ownership and management objectives.This position is scheduled for Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The pay for this position is $19.00-21.00 per hour. Must have valid CA license, and at least 6 months-1 year of apartment maintenance experience.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company operating procedures and standards.Assist in preparing vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready and meet company quality standards.Maintain community grounds and curb appeal and trash management.Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies as neededMaintain good public relations with residents and vendorsAssist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action itemsReport violations of lease and house rulesTimely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant's maintenance needs are being metWork with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary suppliesMaintaining excellent curb appealHelp maintaining excellent curb appealGSF Benefits:MedicalDentalVisionEmployee assistance program401KLife insuranceHolidaysVacationJob Requirements for Maintenance Technician I:Minimum 6months-1 year of relevant apartment maintenance experienceBasic knowledge and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, minor fixes such as patching a wall, fixing a doorknob, appliance repair, unit turnovers, and work ordersBasic familiarity with use of computers and technology. Navigate at a basic level within web-based applicationsProvide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.Able to work as a team and independentlyAbility to follow directions, handle constructive criticism and able to communicate wellAble to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pmOn-call as needed basis
