Job Title: Enclosure Foreman Job Description

The Enclosure Foreman is responsible for overseeing the completion of projects within the Enclosure Department. This role requires ensuring employee safety and productivity while demonstrating strong leadership skills. The position may involve occasional travel to off-site locations to conduct services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure that all safety rules are followed at all times.

• Produce work schedules in accordance with the availability of employees, contractors, and labor laws.

• Recruit, hire, mentor, and train employees and contractors.

• Develop and oversee quality standards.

• Resolve conflicts or miscommunication quickly and amicably.

• Read drawings and blueprints and convey this information to others.

Essential Skills

• Active electrical license in Iowa.

• Experience managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.

• Experience managing multiple crews on multiple projects concurrently.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.

• Union position experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Additional related training or experience.

• Pays close attention to detail.

• Understands how to read and use a tape measure and has good knowledge of hand tools.

• Excellent communication skills and well-organized.

• Ability to assist and support others.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a temperature-controlled facility with a clean and modern setting. The first shift operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm. Employees are required to wear PPE, including steel-toed boots, long pants, a t-shirt, and safety glasses. The team consists of 89 employees, with workloads divided among three foremen. The facility is continuously improving with plans for further expansion.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $93600.00 - $116480.00/yr.

Union benefits - 100% paid for for health, vision, dental 401k 60 days to be eligible
